Aaron Luckey , DVM
| Dr. Luckey is originally from Indiana, but has lived in Charlotte for the past nine years. He has a BS in Biology from the University of Findlay in Ohio, and he obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. He has 3 dogs - Porkchop & Buttercup, who are Pit Bulls, & Gavin a Yorkshire Terriers. Dr. Luckey also has 3 cats - Shadow, Vanity, & Bobo. Dr. Luckey also has four children, Landon, Lillie, Eli and Avyn. |

Kenan
| Kenan started working at Monroe Animal Hospital when she was a senior at Piedmont High School. After she graduated in 1998, she attended American Business & Fashion Institute where she received a degree in Medical and Health Office Technology. After working as a veterinary assistant for 9 months, she expressed interest in the receptionist position. She was the head receptionist for 6 years before being promoted to Office Manager in 2005, and Practice Manager in 2009. She loves her job, and working with a great team! In her spare time she is very active in her church and loves spending time with her daughter Karsyn, her son Ryder, and her husband. |

Carrie
| Carrie was born in South Carolina. She moved to North Carolina as a toddler. She graduated from high school and went on to North Carolina State University graduating in 1995 with a BS in Animal Science. While in school she worked at a cat clinic. In 1997 her husband started his own business and they moved back to Charlotte. In the fall of 1997 she began working at Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital becoming head receptionist in 1998. She came to Monroe Animal Hospital in 2006 as head receptionist, and was promoted to Office Manager in 2009. Working in Monroe gives her the opportunity to be close to home and her son, Aaron. They have 2 cats, Leo & Lincoln. |

Technician Staff
Jennifer
| Jennifer is originally from South Boston, Virginia, but moved to Monroe at the age of 13. She attended North Carolina State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Animal Science. She has been working at Monroe Animal Hospital since August of 1996, and is interested in all areas of Veterinary Medicine. In her time away from the clinic she has her own pet sitting business, which brings her a lot of joy. She has an assortment of animals which include: 1 Greyhound, 3 Border Collies, 1 Ferret, 5 Cats, 5 Rabbits, and 1 Chinchilla. Along with spending time with her pets, husband, and daughter, Emma, she enjoys cross-stitching, jewelry making, and has been a NASCAR junkie since the age of 5. |

Erica
| Erica started working at Monroe Animal Hospital in 1999. After working as a kennel assistant for a short time, she is now a veterinary nurse. She also works with the inventory and accounting areas of the hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, daughter and animals. Her animals consist of 2 dogs, 2 birds, 2 snakes and 1 cat. |

Cheri
| Cheri is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with Monroe Animal Hospital since 2002. She graduated in 1996 from Morehead State University with an Associates Degree of Applied Science. She has been married to her husband, Cody, since 1996. They have two girls, Cheyenne and Alexandra. She loves cats and has two of her own, Ethio and Leuk. Her years of experience are mostly in small animal practice, but include two and a half years working with Internal Medicine Specialists. She loves teaching and training others in the veterinary field. |

Kim

Kim is originally from Ohio and St. Louis, MO, and moved here in 1986. She got started in the veterinary profession when she was a senior in high school in 1993. She went on to Gaston College and graduated in 1998 with a degree in Veterinary Technology, and has been a registered technician ever since. She moved to the Monroe area in 2003 and joined the team at Monroe Animal Hospital. She enjoys spending time with her husband, David, two daughters, Reese and Carly, her two dogs, Dee Dee and Sandy, and her two cats, Emily and Molly. |

Mike Mike is a Union County native who enjoys spending time with his family and working out. He is a marine veteran and is eager to learn the veterinary field. He is one of our newest members and we are glad to have him here.
Sarah Sarah has been working at Monroe Animal Hospital since July of 2010. She is a born and raised native of Union County, and graduated from Forest Hills High School in 2002. She has grown up around animal both large and small and has been working in the Animal Medicine Field since 1999. Starting out in kennels and quickly moved up into a nursing position. In her spare time she enjoys time with her friends, family and soon-to-be husband, Chad and "adopted" daughter, Jaclyn.
